Yes, keep moisturized. Check out Weleda Original Skin Food Cream and Aveeno Eczema Therapy Nighttime Itch Relief Balm. Both are incredibly healing and moisturizing. Ignore the eczema part, it works for all skin issues.

I would really suggest you don't just use any moisturizer because some can be pore clogging and that would be another issue for your skin.
Is probably best to moisturize at certain times more than others, such as when you take a shower or bath you dab yourself with a towel not rub to dry off, so not to irritate the skin any. Also, apply moisture after you bathe or shower to keep the skin from drying out more. Try to use natural products more like aloe vera or specifically ones that list they are non-comedogenic which means it doesn't plug your skin.

Many people don't realize or think that their skin is living and breathing but it is. It needs ventilation, we have to make sure in dry weather we keep our skin moist. We have to not excessively put it out in conditions like the sun because then that can dry it out and cause worse reaction.

For your most inclusive list of what to do and not to do with the skin your dermatologist should be your main or best reference .

Talk with them and see what they say would be a good guideline.

Hope you get the relief you need.

Yes, keeping your skin moisturized is a crucial part of managing plaque psoriasis. You should moisturize at least once daily, and more frequently during cold or dry weather. The best time to apply moisturizer is right after showering or washing your skin to help seal in the moisture.

Here are some key moisturizing tips:
• Use heavy creams, ointments, or oils for maximum moisturizing
• Apply oils before bedtime to avoid staining clothes
• Choose fragrance-free products to prevent irritation
• Consider using moisturizing cleansers instead of drying soaps A MyPsoriasisTeam member shared a helpful tip: try keeping your lotion in the refrigerator and applying it cold for a soothing effect. Some members have had success with natural options like goat milk lotions, coconut oil, or rosehip oil.

Remember to drink plenty of fluids and avoid hot water when bathing, as this can dry out your skin further. If you spend time in air-conditioned spaces, you may need to moisturize more frequently to prevent your skin from becoming too dry.
