Have you tried alternative, integrative, or other herbal treatments? Any herbal based salves or tinctures?

Wow Robina, that's great. I'm also seeing recently that sugar makes your liver work harder. I'm trying to tweak my diet so that it doesn't have that or has very minimal amount. I'm trying to test that before I have to go back to the doctor to see if that helps levels of my blood work any. An experiment so to speak. Hoping to get a good combination of things to do. Or things not to do now. I've separated things in my cabinet to be low sugar no sugar high sugar. Also my sodium. I agree with you the oxalate is important to avoid. The hardest toughest thing for me to do is to give up dark chocolate I admit. It's got oxalate I'll have to go find carob chips. Not the same taste but I'll still have what I feel is satisfying that need. Just got to get used to it I guess. Thanks for reply helps me get ideas for this.

Hi TJ, there are so many diets that can help. I tweak them to fit my needs. I cross reference and research until I am crosseyed. But tweaks are good. For example corn is gluten free but inflammatory switch to white corn and its barely a thing. Homemade soups are super easy and contain less of the 47 thousand synthetic additives that really make us sick. People say they've lived this long and it hasn't effected them. But it has. That's why they are here. It's all detox organs that are worn out from a lifetime of overuse coupled with the gluten that clogs up the sides of the intestines that are supposed to suck out the nutrients. But can't. I started with organic whole foods whenever possible, added low histamine because MCAS added in the MEDS diet and then low oxalate diet. I've lost weight and 13٪ body fat. Bonus!!!

Really good points Robina, I've stopped using commercial cleaners. Mainly because they started to irritate my respiratory. Maybe I'm more sensitive now at this time in life? I mean breathing it in. Even with a vent fan haha.

For cleaning a floor you can use soap and water why not? People did I'm sure back in the older days. They didn't have other options probably
I also tonight cleaned out my tub my sink and my shower floor with a "magic eraser." You can put a little soap on there but you don't need anything else. Came out really clean and not much effort needed.
I was surprised pleasantly.

I'm starting to see stuff about autoimmune diet versus anti-inflammatory. Could you please join in and see if you think there's a difference? I'm finding even healthy eating sometimes isn't really healthy but we just have to be careful about how we prepare food and what we eat. It becomes a challenge sometimes. I'm trying to get my niche in what is best.

I tried some gluten-free and I like some of it, even found a gluten-free tomato soup. Tasted more flavorful actually for me. Oddly.

Any suggestions on this or specifics of beneficial foods?

Yes...and when I behave myself I achieve almost 98% clear skin and zero joint pain. That is if I stay away from inflammatory foods. I use comfrey salve and drink lemon juice in clean water. I detoxed my food and home as much as possible. Members have said it's expensive but when you stop buying toxic cleaners and things you just don't need you end up saving. Plug ins and room sprays are replaced with a reusable diffuser that will last decades. Pure essential oils less than $10 and lasts for years and years. Because you use maybe 3 drops.

Also white sugar is different than natural organic cane sugar. White sugar metabolizes differently and has additives like bleaching agents and non caking chemicals.
Another tweak for your chocolate craving (mine too) take a high quality calcium supplement before consuming oxalates. It will immediately bind to the calcium and flush out of the body. Never getting absorbed. A reason for rampant osteoporosis. Calcium is pulled from everywhere when oxalates are present. I use a powdered calcium citrate as it absorbs quickly and fills the holes, so to speak.
I also take a bovine calcium supplement with colostrum.
