I feel like an alien, seriously. 👽, 20 years with no diagnosis and no medicine can and will forever change you in ways you never thought was possible. I feel like my bones are slowly deteriorating.

Members shared deeply personal experiences of how psoriatic arthritis has affected their feet, describing deteriorating bones, severe pain, swollen joints, altered toenails, and the feeling of being disconnected from their own bodies after years without proper diagnosis or treatment. Several members offered practical strategies including Epsom salt foot soaks for magnesium absorption, low oxalate diets (recommended from the book Toxic Superfoods), Vaseline with socks for softening scales, proper footwear with broad toes, and biologics like Enbrel for pain relief, while one member warned about advanced mutilans stage and urged aggressive early treatment. A recurring theme was the emotional journey of living with PsA, with members encouraging patience, gratitude for progress made, finding strength in shared suffering, and choosing hope over anger despite the unpredictable nature of the disease and lack of guarantees in treatment outcomes.

When our feet are aching bad remember a good foot soak can do wonders for not just your feet but your entire system. An Epsom salt foot soak absorbs magnesium through the largest pores on our bodies. On the soles of our feet.
It takes about 10 minutes for anything that touches our skin to absorb and reach our bloodline and get pumped throughout our system. Magnesium is something our bodies always need more of and never seem to get enough because its used up constantly.
So have a good soak and if anyone asks tell them you're taking your supplements.

Detox all the past medicines. Detox is so important. Our muscles and joints accumulate so much bad stuff. We are like giant toxin storage drums. Not because we don't naturally Detox but because we consume so many toxins, many times unknowingly, we have overwhelmed our Detox systems.

@A MyPsoriasisTeam Member. What is a low oxalate diet? Did you ever get where you could barely walk? I wish I could peel my skin back and see what's happening to my bones/body. My feet don't even feel human anymore. I'm going to Google it now.

It's all connected. That is why diet and knowing what we are eating (mindful eating) are so important. Food and environmental allergens can make life miserable. Things that can be the difference between a good day and a really bad day can be a thoughtless snack or the wrong bread for making toast. Read labels and go organic as much as possible.
