Diagnosed with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. Took enbrel for 10+ years until I started having increased joint pain. Tried simponi aria infusions and didn’t notice much improvement. Switched to Rinvoq and made me severely nauseous and feverish immediately after starting. Now starting Bimzelx and just hoping for the best.

It's completely understandable to feel nervous, especially after such a challenging treatment journey. The good news is that Bimzelx (bimekizumab) has shown high success rates for skin clearance among MyPsoriasisTeam members, which is encouraging!

Like all biologics, there are some side effects to be aware of. Common ones include:

- Injection site reactions
- Flu-like symptoms
- Respiratory infections
- Fatigue
- Nausea
- Headaches

Rare but more serious side effects can include:
- Infections
- Allergic reactions
- Worsening heart conditions Given the rough experience with RinvoQ, it's worth flagging any new symptoms to your doctor quickly after starting Bimzelx, so they can monitor how your body responds.

Many MyPsoriasisTeam members have found that it takes some trial and error before landing on the right medication. As one member put it, after a long journey with many ups and downs, finding the right medicine and medical team made all the difference.

Fingers crossed this is the one that works for you! 🤞 Keep your care team closely in the loop as you get started.
