Members discussed whether Omega-3 fatty acids from fish and marine oils are beneficial for psoriatic arthritis and skin psoriasis, with one member sharing a personal story of remarkable improvement after taking fish oil, reporting that skin psoriasis cleared up along with neuropathy and back pain resolving nearly completely. Several members noted that while Omega-3s may help, reaching meaningful results likely requires consistent, higher therapeutic doses rather than occasional dietary sources like walnuts. A recurring theme was healthy skepticism toward AI-generated medical advice, with members encouraging one another to advocate for themselves with their doctors while also trusting lived experience and personal research.

Art, I don't have psoriasis anymore and haven't had any for months now. And any presumed early symptoms of PsA, such as with peripheral neuropathy pains and lower back problems, are better than 99% resolved. Any issues with the lower back particularly are 100% resolved.

Not long ago, my ever-worsening lower back pains would occasionally render me effectively crippled, but which was an intermittent problem. Although the crippling effect was worsening, or becoming more frequent. All that is simply gone now.

And if I had relied on any advice from "doctors" then I'm very confident I wouldn't be where I am today. The only place I'd be is poisoning myself with biologic drugs, or steroids. There's zero reason to suppose that any dermatologist in this part of the world would have prescribed Omega-3s to me.

If you really believe that you need a doctor to tell you whether to eat fish, or how much of it to eat, then by all means, ask your doctor. But most doctors, apparently, never even approach the subject of Omega-3s from the perspective of psoriatic disease. So if you want your doctor's opinion on the matter, then you'll probably have to be the one starting the conversation.

Best of luck to you, Art...๐Ÿค—

๐Ÿฆ‰Hey JimS! They are beneficial, I suppose, on a casual basisโ€”but it's kind of like how a guy doesn't become a master carpenter just by owning a hammer! ๐Ÿ”จ To really see a difference with Psoriatic Arthritis or skin flares, you have to really get into it. Munching on a handful of walnuts is a great start, but 'sealing the deal' usually requires therapeutic, high-strength doses that go way beyond just eating healthy. Itโ€™s a total commitment! Now, ๐Ÿ‡ฎ ๐Ÿ‡ฉ ๐Ÿ‡ด ๐Ÿ‡ณ ' ๐Ÿ‡น ๐Ÿ‡ต ๐Ÿ‡ท ๐Ÿ‡ด ๐Ÿ‡ฒ ๐Ÿ‡ด ๐Ÿ‡น ๐Ÿ‡ช ๐Ÿ‡ด ๐Ÿ‡ท ๐Ÿ‡จ ๐Ÿ‡ด ๐Ÿ‡ณ ๐Ÿ‡ฉ ๐Ÿ‡ด ๐Ÿ‡ณ ๐Ÿ‡ช ๐Ÿ‡น ๐Ÿ‡ญ ๐Ÿ‡ช ๐Ÿ‡บ ๐Ÿ‡ธ ๐Ÿ‡ช ๐Ÿ‡ด ๐Ÿ‡ซ ๐Ÿ‡ฉ ๐Ÿ‡ท ๐Ÿ‡บ ๐Ÿ‡ฌ ๐Ÿ‡ธ, but when it comes to these high-level omegas, you really need to be under a doctorโ€™s care to have them administered properly for your specific needs. ๐ŸฉบโœจIt's all about moving past the 'hobby' stage and getting into the real work of it! Sending you lots of luck and relief. ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ˜Ž๐ŸŒฟ"

No, Art. And I wouldn't eat an octopus. They are highly sentient creatures. I only eat less-than-sentient creatures. So no dolphins, whales, or anything like that. Arguably is that "humans" are far less than sentient, at least many of them. But......
