I inject in my stomach. I take a deep breath before because I know it is going to hurt - a bit! It just hurts for the time it takes to inject and that is about 15 seconds.
I would not believe it but the pharmacist said that the stomach is less painful. If you "pinch an inch" very hard and then inject on an angle, it does burn for the length of the injection. I ice my stomach then swab. I also leave the vial out for several hours. There 2 different needles that you can use. I have the autoinject. type. The other is a regular needle. And of course the one that is the stay in the hospital in your vein kind. All involve pain. Joanne
I inject in my thighs, but it really burns. I have tried to let it warm up some, but doesn't seem to help. Only burns about 15 seconds.
VacaMomma, that is wonderful. Keep it up. Where do you inject yourself? I have had 5 so far. Tomorrow would be my 6th, but, the MD wants me to miss a dose to see it is what is swelling my legs. Joanne
I have taken my second dose and I am feeling really good. I hope it continues.
