What has been your side effects? I am a little afraid of a biologic. Have moderate psoriasis that is just not responding to Clobesterol Cream. My doctor is wanting me to do the injections.

My doctor originally said I could take methotrexate and folic acid, but that it would cause nausea and hair loss, and that I would have to make frequent trips to the clinic to tweak the amount of folic acid to take to keep the nausea in check. I did not want to be nauseated or to loose my hair, so I told him I didn't want to take it. He has now suggested Skyrizi injections.
Thank you for your response.

Don't waste another day fooling around with oral meds. The biologics are game changers. My skin is very clear. I am challenged currently by trying different ones, but the Humaira that I was initially on, was great for the skin issues. Now that I am having joint complications, it has become more of a problem getting on the right med to take care of it. I am currently on Skyrisi but it doesn't seem to be helping the joint pain at all. Cosentyx was doing a better job all around than the Skyrisi. I want to get on Tremfya or Sylic for better joint pain control.

Thank you, I have heard it works on the plaques very quickly. I have the paperwork to sign for Skyrizi, and they told me they had an assist plan, but I am just reading about it now. I'm glad it is working for you! Maybe I should try it.
