Mine is mainly scalp and sometimes it makes my ears itchy so I take a soft rubber bristle hair brush and run it over both scalp and ears. It does provide temporary relief but my entire scalp is my major issue Mine is concentrated mainly on the right side of my head but above both ears. The right hand side where some people may put a part in their hair is the most affected but also along the top and then going down to the back of the head does gets better there! This makes a lot of work with rotating different shampoos and doing a shampoo every other day! Hang in there and know you are not alone!
For scalp psoriasis I use tea tree oil shampoo. It’s gone, but I keep using the shampoo, because I don’t want to get it again.
Sounds like a good tip you gave. I'll have to think of that because I'm often scratching the back of my head from it. Do you have it as painful on the sides of your head like above or near your ears also? Curious to compare where you find it on the scalp most.
My face when I have a flareup, my face swells up my skin burns, itches and is very painful it can last a full day i have prescribed topical creams & take anti inflammatory tablets maximum dose, rest up & keep cool. The second day is not good as my skin starts to dry up & flake I moisturise carefully & rest up as it exhausts me & leaves me feeling depressed and isolated.
D e w i, I am so sorry to see of that. I would guess that's not an easy area to treat either. Have to be careful what you use on there. Hoping you have better days than worse with that especially.
