Dorothy makes a great point. Holiday stress from families is a big trigger. Stress uses up magnesium fast. Magnesium is important so supplementing might be right for this situation.

That sucks! I would ask, In addtion to Joannes comment, I would ask about stress. Love my family but sometimes they come with a lot of stress attached, add job stress to that and December was bit painful for me. If was an inflamation issue I would think the steroids would work, for me the short burst of steroids does a whole lot of nothing, I need a 16 day tapper at least. Have you changed something in your diet that or started a new medication that is adding to issues? Foods can be a big trigger for me (nuts and grains especially) And for me medications are a blessing and a curse, I have problems with some of the filler ingriendients. Hope you feel better soon.

Sorry you you are hurting. If you indulged over the holidays like me, you have triggered a flare. Psoriasis is an inflammatory disease and so many foods can be triggers. Especially gluten grains and sugars. Additives and synthetic preservatives are also inflammatory. To flush out those toxins i drink filtered water with lemon juice, cut out gluten and sugar . You can also stand outside barefeet touching untreated grass. This is called grounding and it helps so much with swelling. I also take white willow bark. Its like Tylenol without the side effects and it helps with swelling.
I'm here if you have any questions.
Also, fatigue is the norm. We all deal with it. Naps are the best. If you need one take one.

Odd that my trigeminal Neurology meds suck out my sodium. I need to take meds to put it back in then have blood work once a month. If it goes too low my BP rises dangerously high and I need the ER. I am low on protein too. So, I do eat red meats, nuts, Ensure Protein and more to build me up.
