Have both psoriasis & psoriatic arthritis. Have FAILED with HUMIRA, ENBREL. Success with COCENTYX, but after 4 years authorization was denied. FAIL with ORENCIA infusions. Eventually put on TALTZ, both psoriasis and PsA got worse after 2 years. On third year I requrested return to COCENTYX. Insurance said I had to fail at HUMIRA ENBREL STELLAR, PYACHIA, & BIMZELX. My dermatologist got "fired" 3 years ago for neglecting to look at medication list (which includes anti-epileptic drugs) and trying to prescribe METHOTREXATE. That medication would react with at least one AED & is not recommended for women my age (I was 69 then). He also refused to identify psoriasis on feet/toes; ended up going to podiatrist. My rheumatologist is a PA & I asked for change (actually return to Cosentyx) & asked her to ask the rheumatologist team (she did not).
I am extremely careful on drug-herbal interactions (I do not take Echinacea for more than 5 days, tapering dose.)
For more than 3 years, doctors (internist, neurologist, rheumatologist, and dermatologist) do not assist in helping me with plaques, swollen finger, loss of grip and pain, But they are quick to jump on kidney/liver tests during period of Orencia infusions which made PsA and PsO worse so I was taking more OTC pain killers like Advil than I would have liked. The specialist determined with fractionated test that I did not . Doctors have refused me treatment at urgent care facilities because I took biologic. Can you blame my distrust of so called Medical world, which until 1910 included homeopathic and herbal cures?
And My Psoriasis Team is also frustrating, as it has created 3 different profiles for me, one listing the wrong city, others because I logged in from my cell phone.
Provide info that helps and do not make social media portion difficult.

Bimzelx (bimekizumab) is FDA-approved for both psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis, and it works by targeting both IL-17A and IL-17F, which makes it somewhat unique compared to other biologics in its class.
