what do you do when your legs and feet are cover in psoriasis im on a waiting list and its been 7 months bottom of my legs covered in plaque

For your feet, a good routine can make a real difference:

- Wash feet with a gentle, fragrance-free soap
- Try an oatmeal foot bath to soothe irritated skin
- Apply a thick moisturizer like CeraVe, Vaseline, or shea butter
- Pull on clean cotton socks after moisturizing and leave them on overnight

One MyPsoriasisTeam member shared: "I use CeraVe cream. I put it on my feet really thick and put cotton socks on, and it really helps." For your legs, over-the-counter moisturizers and topicals can help with dryness and irritation. Look for products that are hypoallergenic and free of dyes and fragrances.

It also helps to avoid known triggers that can worsen flares:

- Cold, dry air
- Stress
- Skin injuries or cuts
- Alcohol use

Wearing soft, breathable fabrics like cotton can reduce irritation on your legs too.

If symptoms are getting significantly worse while waiting, it's worth contacting your GP to flag the deterioration — they may be able to speed up your referral or suggest a short-term treatment in the meantime.

natalie i have phoned the hospital and said about the waiting list i have heard its 55 weeks which is ridiculous see dont know if im diabetic but friday i am going for a health check so i might find out

So Mark the dim light beam in my head just shown the brightness of a lighthouse. I think since your appointment is 7 months out and seeing your legs makes me want to cry for the pain you must be in. Go to the ER may be they will medicate your thru IV, maybe dabreed it...maybe even give you the name of a dermatologist or an appointment....it doesn't hurt to try...are any if those bloody areas weeping? Or bleeding not just scabs? Are you diabetic or have any other immuno deficiency diseases?
