has anyone used the Dermalight 80 UV comb for Psoriasis on the Scalp , i am willing to try anything
its a handheld UV lamp with a comb attachment which if it worked would have been great, spoke to my dermatologist today his exact words " waste of money " so i am so glad i spoke to him before i paid out £200
Jojo, i have never been able to clear my scalp at all 35 years and i was at my wits end . I now use Cocois cream which you put on your scalp and leave overnight ( its messy so use a spare pillowcase ) next morning i scrape off the scales with a comb and then the doctor gave me Etrivex shampoo which you rub into your scalp leave for 15-20 minutes and then wash off ( been doing this regime 2 weeks and already scalp is much better) He also gave me Enstilar Mousse which is a steroid which is not so messy as the cream remedies and can also be used on the scalp
I have had it ony scalp for over 30 years and have never been able to clear it. I use Clobex now but will ask my Dr to try Cocois. Thanks for the information
Thanks Jean. I have been using the Enstilar Mousse on my knee and it has really worked. I will try on my scalp. I have used Cocois cream before but not Etrivex, so will ask the doctor for that next time I go in. I have really thick hair so find it difficult to get the medication onto my scalp - which I think is some of the problem
Never heard of it and would have been great if it worked. What do you use on your scalp? I have never been able to clear mine
