Has Anyone Had Experience With Low Dose Naltrexone? Or Dovonex Cream? I Have Quit Taking Humira PCP Wants Me To Try These. Thank.
I have used Dovonex cream for about fifteen years. It helps but has not cleared it up for me.
Like Vaughn. Dovonx helps but last while does not completely clear when I started dovenex ,15 years ago worked a lot better guess I built an immunity but it still gets rid of the scales I am now looking into other options tho
I've been on Humira for a number of years. It cleared my plaque psoriasis up entirely in just a couple months. Prior to the Humira, I had been prescribed a number of other topicals. Dovonex was one of them. It did help, but never completely cleared me up. The frustrating thing with my experience with topicals, was, it would merely move the location of the plaque outbreaks. I hate needles, but Humira has worked miracles. Good luck with the Dovonex. There was a topical Taclonex that did some very good things, but, somehow I couldn't remember the second daily application. Had I remembered them, I think my response from that would have been better to almost cleared.
I have been on LDN for a year and a half now, it is working well for me, my immune system is now fantastic compared to what it used to be, psoriasis not completely gone but manageable, my psoratic arthritis has never been better ! occasionally will have a small flare up but nothing like it used to be and my fatigue is nothing like it used to be either ... I wasnt able to get through the day without a nap and now back working part-time .. a life changer for me ..so far !
I use Low dose naltrexone and it helps but I would say it clears around 50% of the psoriasis but it's still there.
