A MyPsoriasisTeam member shared that their psoriasis journey started in high school, noticing patches on their scalp. For a long time, they didn't realize how bad it was getting, with flaking eyebrows, eyelashes, and a covered back β and they felt like they should be hiding. Looking back, here's what many members wish they'd done sooner:
- Be honest with your doctor β even about the uncomfortable stuff
- Track your flares and symptoms β write everything down
- Speak up if a treatment isn't working β there are options!
- Don't hide or run from yourself β easier said than done, but so worth it
The first step is always the hardest, but getting to a doctor and starting that conversation can make a real difference. You've already taken a great step just by reaching out! π
