I hope the generic works well for you. I have Pppp which is psoriasis on soles of feet and palms of ✋️ hands. Clobestobol topical has been the only thing that helped. VTAMA crean used to work, but now has stopped doing much good.

Yes, Trina, those feet & palms are hard ones to clear up, Thicker, courser, palms are thinner so were My first to clear but also had Light Therapy at Derm, but Stopped , way to expensive, way over charged, I had LightS from 1970's, hehe, no, really; Rx/ Prescription, from University Hospital in Baltimore, I Still sometimes ,drag them out, but not resently, like 2021 or 22, last time. I myself have been working on my NAILS been over a Year, But i stayed steady ,& I am Still working dilgently, I use Rx's of Triamcinolone Acetonide Oint 0.1% during the week days, then switch off on weekend with Calcipotriene Cream 0.005% ! These 2 have been with me for decades, I use PRN [ when needed ] & only a tiny Dab ,will do ya. If u can get those two, use as directed, it may do u good. KEEP trying, I myself am thankful ,for these New & Improved Treatments. I worked Pharmacy IV for 35years. I do know Some Things, but i do not know All things, & from the beginning of my journey, very, very little did anything, nada was out there to help, but Now, last 7 years, Had been my First time of Clear Skin, in decades, help with Joint, Muscle pain was Nightmarish . Yes now i am on JAKS, different & i believe Stronger its way of ATTACK against our foe... But on the other side, can Knock you on your Butt, quicker & hard. So I Now understand, ; Key Word ; that I NEED to be More On top of things, I do not venture into Enclosed areas [ mask ,maybe ],if I am feeling even a touch not NORMAL, I need more Rest, Quiet time, & Grounding. What well be, will be. But i still work hard, that is when i finally get the Hell out of my FUNKS, If I had time, i would TRY to write a paper or two ,about Funkytown & finding My ways Out of it. Iknow if one stays To Long , its Hell to get out of, Trina. Keep the Faith, I pray every day, for thanks when I do find my way towards the lightness. Take care

What a journey — and what a way to put it: "pretty in pink, but beware!" That's honestly a perfect description of how deceptively small a powerful medication can look.

Your caution is well-placed though. JAK inhibitors are serious medications, and the warnings are real. Key risks to stay aware of include:

- Serious infections (the immune system becomes less able to fight back)
- Increased risk of certain cancers, including skin cancers
- Heart-related events like heart attack or stroke
- Blood clots
- The medication potentially becoming less effective over time Being sick for 3-4 months is no small thing — that's a real toll. A MyPsoriasisTeam member shared something similar, noting they had to pause Xeljanz due to frequent infections.

Staying in close contact with a rheumatologist about side effects, infections, and regular blood work monitoring is really the best armor here. The monitoring schedule matters a lot with this medication.

That "wait and see" wisdom? Hard-earned and absolutely valid. 💪
