I used to have for many years a glass of wine every evening, sometimes two, but now lately have stopped altogether at home, just a glass of wine or whisky when we are at a social event. No more than two. I have found my latest bad skin flare up is improving but not the arthritic joints.

Unfortunately yes... I am sad because wine makes me happy, lol. I usually have 1-3 glasses 2/3 nights a week.

I am not a drinker but sure am a sugarholic. I eliminated sugar from my diet and it greatly helped my joint pain. I do know there is a lot of sugar in alcohol and wine. I would try eliminating it and see if u improve. Give it a little while to clear your system, Took me about three weeks to notice a difference and it was a big difference!!!!

From a personal experience I found it made no difference at all. What can make a difference is the fact that I may have been more tired after having been out and having a drink or stayed up longer in the evening as I was enjoying myself and sometimes that made my skin drier.
